Moulding of Plastic Products
One of the main activities is moulding of plastic products by way of infusion. Depending on the size and complexity of a part, moulding machinery of various capacities is used for moulding different parts (see below). Moulding of Plastic Products by way of Nitrogen Gas In 2004, a system of moulding of parts by way of nitrogen gases was introduced, which has taken the production of the enterprise to new level of quality and efficiency. This technology has given Stigma, UAB new possibilities: - To improve the quality of goods – due to this technology machines leave no marks of mass amalgamation and settlements, because smaller closing power can be used, thus use of moulding machinery with lesser capabilities becomes more efficient. Besides, parts are produced free of crevasses and depressions.
- To lower product price – the time of moulding cycle is reduced and smaller amounts of raw material are used, because there is no longer need to join separate components to produce entire part, and there is possibility to produce entire parts outright, such as knobs, etc. This process also enables to make cycle of production of a part shorter. Besides, when smaller closing power is used, the use of moulding machinery with lesser capabilities becomes more efficient
- To design - due to this technology, it is possible to improve rigidity of product, to make desired number of edges, heads and other features, avoiding lesions, settlements of surface of parts, when moulding parts with edges of different thickness. This technology also enables to mould parts with cavities, avoiding use of mechanic marks.
The nitrogen equipment used in the enterprise is the following: DDIK 100-2.2 / 330 bar. Raw Material: In the field of moulding of plastic products, a number of various plastic raw materials are used and Stigma, UAB employs most of them: Commonly used polymers: HDPE, LDPE, PP, PS, HIPS. Technical polymers: ABS, POM, PC, PA, PA+GF. Note: names of raw material are given by number; each group consists of a number of various makes of raw material with different parameters. Most of moulding forms used in the enterprise are owned by the clients. Stigma, UAB is responsible for proper use, maintenance of the same, can perform minor repair, because competent specialists work in the bar of equipment and installation. If the client has no shape of product moulding, we mediate in ordering the production of the same.
